I am a psychotherapist and Reiki practitioner based in Brighton. I hold a Master's degree in Psychology and Social work, a diploma in Internal Family Systems & Hypnotherapy, have trained in Mindfulness and am attuned to Reiki Master level.
I have a strong belief that each of us is born with all of the resources we need to live a full and happy life. However, life's ups and downs can easily take us away from our centre, leaving us feeling worried, insecure, low in mood, angry, even hopeless. My therapy sessions provide a safe and supportive space in which you can discover the source of your difficulties and learn tools to be able to grow and heal.

My Therapy Approach
I will be predominantly using a mindfulness-based treatment approach called Internal Family Systems or IFS. It focuses on healing the different parts of ourselves that have emerged during painful experiences through acknowledging their presence and listening to their needs. This process helps you to develop true self-awareness. From here you will rediscover the inner-resources you have been searching for; all of the strength and wisdom that you need to heal.
My sessions are conducted in a slightly different way to traditional talking therapy. Instead of rehashing over your memories and thought processes in detail, I will be helping you to drop into a place of feeling and understanding. The exercise can feel almost meditation-like and enables you to go inward in order to connect with the deeper causes of the symptoms that bring you to therapy. From this place, the real work can be done.
During our time together, I will support you on your journey of self-exploration, focusing on your concerns. I provide a supportive and nurturing environment for you to be able to better understand the parts of yourself that you may be ashamed or unaware of at present, including your fears and defences. In your sessions, you will be given the space to learn self-compassion along the path to true and lasting healing.
